In the fast-paced realm of corporate events and trade shows, mentalism must be quick and easily grasped, leaving a lasting impression. Finding effects that meet these criteria is challenging, which led me to develop my own solution.
Choose Me
Five blank business cards are presented to the participant, along with a sixth card marked with the phrase “Choose Me.” The performer shuffles the marked card among the blanks and invites the participant to make a choice. With no pressure, the participant freely selects a card. The remaining cards are revealed to be blank, confirming that she has chosen the ‘Choose Me’ card, which she can examine.
Requires Only Business Cards & Pen
This impactful piece of mentalism relies solely on your business cards and a pen to inscribe the ‘Choose Me’ message. If you prefer not to hand out the ‘Choose Me’ card each time, you only need to write it once.
Hidden Message
The phrase ‘Choose Me’ not only signifies the performer’s influence over the selection but also serves as a clever marketing tactic. Picture the participant returning home, filing away your business card. Later, when they need your services, your card stands out with a subtle reminder to “Choose Me” among potential competitors.
