This document features a scan of the 1984 edition of Dai Vernon’s Revelations, where the Professor shares his insights on S.W. Erdnase’s classic, “Expert at the Card Table.”

Please note that one page is missing: the first page of Erdnase’s introduction. Unfortunately, the original files did not include this page. However, it can be found in any edition of EATCT, which is readily available.

The rest of the book is complete, starting with Persi Diaconis’s insightful introduction and continuing through the “Present Day Developments,” showcasing advanced card handling techniques that Vernon either learned or developed over time.

For those new to this work, “Expert at the Card Table” is presented in full (except for the missing introduction page) across double-wide pages, with Vernon’s annotations placed in the margins for easy reference. While he doesn’t comment on every aspect of Erdnase’s work, his insights are invaluable. Vernon’s remarks are conveniently located next to the relevant sections of EATCT, facilitating a deeper understanding of the material. (Since Vernon did not comment on Erdnase’s introduction, the absence of that page is not a loss.)
