Update on the ‘Azlan’ Card At Any Number

This is NOT the same update for ‘Azlan’ which was taught in God Mode Sui Generis 2.

A prediction envelope containing a single playing card is placed on the table. A spectator shuffles and cuts a deck of cards twice, ensuring a thorough mix. As they shuffle, they intuitively think of a number between one and fifty-two.

The performer illustrates the contrast between intuition and guessing. The spectator first guesses a random card’s position in the deck, then attempts to guess which card resides at that position. They fail each time, demonstrating that guessing is often incorrect. The performer then reminds the spectator of their intuitive number and reveals the prediction from the envelope, which has been visible throughout. The spectator deals to their chosen number, and the card matches the prediction perfectly, showcasing the power of intuition over mere guessing.

No need for the spectator to remove Jokers or count cards; they shuffle the deck, and the effect is ready to unfold. The performer never touches the deck or knows the card order post-shuffle. Everything occurs ‘hands off’ from the spectator’s viewpoint and is nearly self-working.

This effect can be performed individually or in a group, where one out of three participants uses their intuition while the others make guesses.
