Effect:

The magician presents a blue-backed deck and claims to have a “lucky card” secured between two Jokers, held with a rubber band to his card case. He displays a red-backed card sandwiched between the Jokers and places it under the card case on the table.

The magician invites a spectator to guess the lucky card. The spectator can name ANY card in the deck (no restrictions!). For instance, if the spectator names the Five of Clubs, the magician reveals that the lucky card isn’t the Five of Clubs but offers another chance to identify it. He then removes five cards from the deck and asks the spectator to choose a number between 1 and 5. Suppose the number is 4; the magician counts off four cards and reveals the Seven of Diamonds.

Upon lifting the card case, the prediction card is shown to be the Seven of Diamonds! But there’s more. When the Seven of Diamonds is turned over, the back displays the Five of Clubs written in bold black marker! The prediction card and the Jokers can be handed out for immediate examination!
