One card is signed and lost in the deck, which is then placed inside a card box held by one of the spectators. The second card remains in the other spectator’s hand throughout the performance.

The magician reveals that these cards are “twin souls,” meaning any action taken on one card will affect the other. As the tension builds, the magician asks for the card held by the spectator and introduces a lighter. With a dramatic flourish, the magician burns the back of the card, targeting an image of an angel on a bike. If executed flawlessly, the card inside the spectator’s box will reveal a burned angel card. When the cards are unveiled, the spectator discovers that the burned card matches the one they freely selected, all without any contact from the magician.
