This routine unfolds in three phases: a spectator selects a card, which then vanishes into the deck. Within seconds, that card appears in the cap you’ve been wearing the entire time, and you only touch the cap to remove it and reveal the effect.

While the spectator is left puzzled, you demonstrate that the cap contains no hidden pockets or duplicate signed cards. Transitioning into the second phase, you put the cap back on, openly show the card to the spectator, and lose it in the deck. This time, the card appears in the cap in mere moments.

In the third phase, the spectator will likely scrutinize your hands closely, and you welcome that. The card visibly goes into the center of the deck, only for the entire deck to vanish. In your hands remains the spectator’s card, while the cap, worn throughout, holds the rest of the deck.
