Who is he?

Danny Archer began his journey into magic at the age of 29. In 1988, he transitioned from a sales position at Apple Computer to work at the Philadelphia Magic Company, where he gained invaluable insights into the world of magic before the company closed in 1991. After a brief return to the corporate world, he moved to Denver, CO, in March 1994. Following a heart attack, he reevaluated his life choices and decided to pursue magic wholeheartedly.

To kickstart his performing career, Danny introduced his first trick, Eye Exam, which quickly became a hit. Encouraged by this success, he released additional effects, including Birthday Banner and Grandpa’s Deck, amassing over 24 tricks and DVDs available in the magic community.

His lectures have taken him across the globe, presenting in thirty countries and at numerous conventions, including the IBM national convention and Blackpool Convention. Alongside his partner Robert Allen, he organizes the MINDvention mentalism convention. Danny’s work has been featured in esteemed publications such as MAGIC, Linking Ring, and Genii.

For the past six years, Danny has been performing close-up magic at a ski resort in Vail, CO, five to six nights a week. His performances are visual, dynamic, and tailored for real-world situations, utilizing simple props to create unique magic experiences that audiences have rarely encountered.
