What sets Genetics 2 apart from its predecessor?

Sean has refreshed the imagery in Genetics 2 while retaining some beloved designs. The cards are beautifully printed in vibrant colors on high-quality, poker-sized playing card stock.

One of the key updates is the handling, allowing spectators to shuffle the cards before the performance. Genetics 2 requires no sleight of hand and features an instant reset.

Effect:

Two spectators shuffle the photo deck. You explain that you’ll show them the images without saying a word. They simply look at the images as you place them on the table. Afterward, you declare, “Believe it or not, I have influenced you. I will show you each photo, and you must decide whether to keep it or not.” This process repeats for every image.

After collecting the rejected photos, you reveal that each card features either a male genetic symbol with a blue back or a female genetic symbol with a pink back, creating a balanced mix.

You then invite the first spectator to reveal the photos they chose to keep, and every single card displays the male genetic symbol on its blue back, eliciting gasps from the audience! Everyone will be eager to see the female spectator’s selections. When she turns over her cards, each one is revealed to have a pink back with the female genetic symbol!
