Experience the Thrills of “Get Killed” by Penn & Teller

Penn and Teller emerged as icons in the mid-1980s new-vaudeville movement, captivating audiences with their unique blend of humor and magic. Following their success in an off-Broadway show, the duo aimed to bring their distinctive style to the big screen. Teaming up with director Arthur Penn, they created a film centered around themselves, where Penn (the outspoken half of the duo) provocatively declares on national television his desire for someone to attempt to kill him. While the premise sparks curiosity, the film ultimately falls short of its potential. Despite featuring moments of impressive sleight of hand and clever pranks, it fails to deliver the captivating experience one might expect from such a bold concept.
