The spectator flips through the book, changes pages, and settles on one. Without any fishing, the performer accurately recites a complete line from the chosen page. There is no force involved, and the spectator can confirm that other pages are not duplicates. Next, another spectator writes down 3 or 4 page numbers, unseen by the performer, while the on-stage spectator turns to one of those pages without revealing it. Using body language or mind reading techniques, the performer first provides subtle details and then reveals the entire first paragraph word for word. To elevate the effect, the spectator turns to another random page and selects a word, which the performer reveals using their preferred method.
