Labyrinth – An Enchanting Illusion
Experience the captivating journey of a lady navigating through ever-shifting narrow pathways within a compact elevated structure, culminating in a stunning vanish.
This innovative illusion is the brainchild of Jon Gower, who partnered with his friend Mark Parker, renowned author of illusion works such as Vivify and 4E Illusion Design.
Conceived in 2007, Labyrinth emerged from a desire to break away from traditional “girl in a box” performances. This effect features a girl traversing intricate pathways crafted by the magician within a small cabinet.
Self-contained, this illusion can be showcased in the center of a stage or cabaret floor, eliminating the need for elaborate backdrops.
While the manuscript does not serve as a workshop guide, it provides a comprehensive description of the routine and mechanics, complete with vivid illustrations and detailed sections of the apparatus, making it a unique and stunning addition for contemporary performers.
“The novelty and mystery of this would make a great addition to any illusion show. Very highly recommended for any fan of illusions.” – Paul Romhany, Vanish Magazine (review in June 2016 edition).
