The tale of the Queen’s Nose has captivated audiences since Queen Elizabeth II ascended the throne 70 years ago. It is said that a gentle rub of her nose can grant wishes. To commemorate her coronation, she minted 100 “lucky pennies,” infused with her magic, and gifted one to each staff member present on that historic day. My Uncle Charlie was among those fortunate recipients. Now, simply rub the Queen’s nose on the lucky penny to make a wish come true.

EFFECT

A spectator selects a card and returns it to the deck. An indifferent card is placed in their hand, followed by an Old English Penny for inspection. The spectator rubs the Queen’s nose on the coin while naming their chosen card, causing the card beneath to transform into their selection. This effect can be repeated with another card; however, this time, instead of changing the card, the coin itself reveals the selected card embossed on its surface. The coin can be thoroughly examined and, in the Jubilee Edition, even gifted as a memorable keepsake.
