For nearly a decade, this has been Peter Duffie’s top-selling effect across Europe and the USA. You present a spectator with a small pocket diary. From a selection of over sixty names on cards, a second spectator freely chooses a husband and wife pair—no forcing involved.

As you (or a spectator) reveal a letter that has been visible throughout the performance, it discloses the wedding date of the selected couple. The first spectator then opens the diary to that specific date. At this moment, the second spectator announces the names they were thinking of, for instance, Mr. and Mrs. Ford. The first spectator reads the entry in the diary for that date: “Mr. & Mrs. Ford!” It’s a stunning revelation!

Completely self-working. Use any diary. No forcing, binary codes, cue sheets, or resets required. It’s a showstopper!

With recent updates, this e-version no longer depends on specially printed cards. You can easily write the names by hand and still perform the effect seamlessly. Additionally, the modifications allow you to present an extra prediction at the start!
