You begin by removing a “prediction” card from the deck, asking the spectator to sign its back. This card is then placed under the cellophane of your card case. The spectator selects a card, for example, the 3 of Spades. When you reveal your prediction card under the cellophane, it shows the 2 of Spades – its mate!

While predicting the mate of the selection is impressive, the real magic happens next. With no apparent moves, the bottom pip of the 2 of Spades begins to magically clone itself, transforming into the 3 of Spades! This card is then handed directly to the spectator as a unique keepsake, with no suspicious actions involved.
