No Peeking by Alexander Marsh
“‘No Peeking’ went straight into my working set. This is, in my opinion, the best star sign reveal on the market! I have always been an advocate of Pete Turner’s ‘Isabelle’s Star’ and used it on a regular basis. ‘No Peeking’ changed that for me. As soon as you grasp the method you won’t be able to help yourself. You will want to use this.” – Jack Brister
What’s your star sign? Your date of birth? What day of the week is your birthday? Now you can share these details with a stranger without peeking.
This innovative routine allows you to reveal information that the spectator has written down without ever looking at it. The idea is that if you can achieve this, it opens up the possibility of revealing other information even if you do peek. This routine can serve as a clever diversion, demonstrating that you can read minds without needing to touch the billet. Additionally, you will reveal at least two pieces of information that were never written down by the spectator.
Minimal props are required: just a pencil, at least two index cards, and a swami gimmick. The core methodology relies on mental calculations, including a branching anagram for star signs and the ability to perform a Day For Any Date calculation. You’ll need to know when each star sign occurs and how to calculate the day of the week for any given birthday.
At the end of this book, you’ll find an Appendix filled with resources to help you learn the necessary dates and calculations. The Day for Any Date formula is one of the easiest I’ve encountered, and I’ve simplified it further for this routine. For many, this knowledge alone may justify the cost of the download.
