Who is he?

Peter Studebaker is a Journeyman Magician with a wealth of experience and a flair for entertaining. Originally from Texas, he now resides in Las Vegas, captivating audiences worldwide with his comedic sleight of hand at corporate events and social gatherings.

Peter’s journey into magic began at age 13, inspired by a lecture from Albert Goshman. He honed his skills under the guidance of magic legends such as Dai Vernon, Roger Klause, and Michael Skinner, becoming a part of the esteemed “Underground” magic community.

His studies in Europe introduced him to influential magicians like Ken Brooke and Fred Kaps, shaping his unique blend of charm and strong magic. After earning a degree in International Business from UT-Austin, Peter transitioned from auto parts sales to full-time magic performance in 1981.

Over the next two decades, he performed at upscale venues in Houston and Dallas, leading to numerous corporate bookings. His experience in comedy clubs and trade shows further refined his skills, allowing him to help clients succeed through engaging magic.

Peter’s performances have taken him across the globe, from Paris to Rio, and he has lectured in numerous cities, sharing his expertise with fellow magicians. He has appeared on ABC-TV’s “Put to the Test” and “America’s Funniest People,” showcasing his versatility as an entertainer.

Today, Peter is recognized for his ability to deliver fun and mind-bending magic, leaving audiences both laughing and thinking. While not widely known among casual magic fans, he is highly regarded within the magic community and has collaborated with many renowned magicians.

In his free time, Peter enjoys studying French, sales, philosophy, economics, and origami, and he is an enthusiastic squash player.
