However, they soon realize that gaining this knowledge is more challenging than anticipated. To unlock the secrets, they must assist Lee in finding a missing item, all while encountering magicians Jeff Hinchliffe, Glenn West, and Chris Westfall, and evading the chaos caused by the eccentric card collector Bill Abbott. This wild adventure is packed with humor and impressive card tricks.
Trick List
1. Lu Lu Lemon (Chris Mayhew) – Inspired by Paul Harris’ La La’s Lu Lu, this routine features a face-down card isolated among face-up cards. The magician then asks a spectator to name any card from a different packet, leading to a stunning coincidence where the chosen card matches the isolated one.
2. Colour Changing Deck (Glenn West) – A visually stunning routine that showcases a series of clever color changes. As a bonus, Glenn shares his refined technique for Ed Marlo’s Snap Change.
3. Wide Open Travelers (Glenn West) – In this homage to Ed Marlo’s The Open Travelers, four Aces invisibly travel from the magician’s hand to the table, with each journey becoming increasingly impressive.
4. Detour on 51st Street (Ben Train) – A pseudo demonstration of shuffle tracking, where two jokers find a previously lost selection, convincing spectators of the magician’s professional gambling skills.
5. Harmony (Jeff Hinchliffe) – Drawing inspiration from Dai Vernon’s Triumph, this routine involves shuffling cards face up and face down. After a spectator selects a card, the magician reveals it among the chaos, culminating in a stunning display where all cards are shown in new deck order.
6. Oil and Water (Jeff Hinchliffe) – A dynamic multi-phase routine where red and black cards are mixed yet keep separating, leading to an unexpected climax that will astonish the audience.
7. Training Wheels (Ben Train) – A whimsical Ace production where the magician seamlessly transforms the Four of Spades into the four Aces in one fluid motion, leaving spectators eager to learn the secret.
8. Hold ’em Seductively (Chris Westfall) – A Texas Hold ’em themed transposition based on Paul Harris’ Seductive Switch, where the magician magically exchanges poor cards for better ones, making friends think twice before playing cards with him again.
