Effect: In this captivating mentalism routine, two audience members participate in a unique experiment. The first volunteer receives a brown paper bag containing a hidden prediction. The performer presents several torn pieces of newspaper, each featuring various words and images, and places them into a second bag. After shaking the bag, the second volunteer is asked to spit into it. Yes, you read that right—SPIT into the bag! Once the volunteer complies, the performer spills the contents onto the floor. The second spectator is then prompted to pick up the newsprint that has been marked with spittle and read the visible word, which astonishingly reveals “SALE.” To conclude the effect, the first volunteer opens their bag to reveal the sole piece of paper that also states “SALE!”
