Barry and Stuart took inspiration from the miraculous events described in the New Testament, showcasing illusions such as seemingly walking on water in a glass tank, converting water into wine, temporarily restoring sight to a blind individual, appearing to resurrect the deceased, and even making a virgin appear to be ‘pregnant’ while feeding a multitude of 5,000.

The show sparked significant controversy, with Bishop Michael Reid, founder of the Christian Congress for Traditional Values, stating, “Perhaps these two fraudsters should attempt crucifixion to see if they can rise three days later.”
