Mickael Chatelain – Zig Zag

Effect:

A spectator picks a card, such as the Queen of Hearts, and signs it on either side. This card is then placed atop the deck held by the performer. The performer introduces a ‘magic card’ featuring two quarter-sized holes and positions it over the chosen card. With a dramatic cutting gesture, the ‘magic card’ is pulled away, revealing that the selected card appears to be sliced in half through the holes! The ‘magic card’ is then returned to its original place, completely restoring the chosen card, which the spectator can examine and take home as a keepsake.
