Baz Taylor’s Array elevates John Bannon’s iconic “Play It Straight Triumph” plot with exquisite custom gaffs and a handling method that requires no sleight of hand.

Effect

After shuffling a deck, two spectators choose cards and place them face down on the table without looking. You then reveal that you will determine the values of the cards in an extraordinary manner. The deck is divided into four piles, with two turned face up and two left face down. These piles are shuffled together, creating a chaotic mix of face-up and face-down cards.

The magic unfolds as you make a mystical gesture over the cards, causing all but one suit to turn face down. The remaining suit is perfectly ordered, except for one missing card, which turns out to be the first selection. The deck is squared and instantly re-spread, revealing another suit face up, again in perfect order with only one card absent. Watch in amazement as the spectators discover that their second selection is the missing card!
