Deceptive Diary by Barry Ray
Available as a PDF download.
Barry Ray’s Deceptive Diary is the culmination of 25 years of innovation. Originally conceived in the late 1980s, this groundbreaking effect was launched in 1990, introducing the first diary trick that utilizes a single diary with a selection of over 40 cards. Prior to this, diary tricks relied on multiple diaries, often forcing two to eight cards, which complicated the performance.
To simplify the process, Barry developed Easy Diary. However, he frequently revisited Deceptive Diary in search of a more straightforward execution. His persistence paid off with a new method that maintains the original card selection but eliminates the need for complex mental calculations. This approach requires no math or just a single simple addition, making it incredibly accessible. Barry initially thought Easy Diary was the simplest option, but this new method is as easy as pie!
You’ll receive both techniques: the traditional method that involves mental math and the new, streamlined version that removes all the cumbersome calculations and memorization.
