Conversely, a volunteer who drew a ‘trick’ was kidnapped but had learned escapology, allowing her to escape effortlessly.

Notably, episodes of Trick or Treat do not include Derren’s typical disclaimer about the absence of actors or stooges, as some participants, like the ambulance crew in the final episode of Series 1, are acknowledged as actors.
