Gene Anderson The Book

The Book encompasses 256 pages filled with 890 detailed illustrations and photographs. It features 23 chapters, each meticulously outlining an effect and routine based on my current performance repertoire. Every routine has been refined through years of live shows, ensuring only the most polished pieces are included. Routines that are no longer part of my act are excluded, and no novelty tricks were created solely for this publication. Additionally, four chapters offer supplementary information without any tricks. Throughout the text, you’ll find 27 personal anecdotes (“The Gene Pool”) and 206 humorous quotes to enhance your reading experience. The back cover of the dust jacket provides a comprehensive overview, while the chapter titles can be found on the contents page.

Composition: My writing process involved more than just words; I needed to visualize them alongside their illustrations. To achieve this, I learned Adobe Illustrator and created 487 unique illustrations.
