Who is he?

Jorge Larrabure, known as El Mago George Iglesias, is a renowned Peruvian illusionist with over 20 years of experience, celebrated both in Peru and internationally. His career includes a notable 7-year stint as the Official Wizard at Universal Studios in Orlando.

As a prominent figure in Latin American television, George has made over a thousand appearances on various national and international channels, including CNN, ABC, Telemundo, Discovery Channel, and many others.

He recently released his first book, #ElMagoSoyYO, the first magic book published in Peru by the prestigious Grupo Planeta de España, promoting the teaching of magic to both children and adults. The book’s prologue was penned by the legendary illusionist David Copperfield, with whom George has had the honor of collaborating.

From 2008 to 2012, George hosted his own magic segment, “Magic Clear,” on the Telemundo International program “NITIDO,” reaching millions across the USA, Puerto Rico, and Central America.

Awarded multiple international accolades for his creativity and talent, George has invented numerous magical effects for renowned magicians, including David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, and Dynamo.

In 2014, George married Giuliana Zevallos Roncagliolo, Miss Peru Universe 2010 and Miss Peru World 2012, and they have a wonderful son named Fabrizio.

Twister Magic Studio, founded in March 2001, is Peru’s first and only School and Store of Magic, located in Miraflores, Lima. The studio trains both amateurs and professionals in the art of magic, with programs that have expanded internationally, including partnerships with Nova Southeastern University in Florida and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
