Hands Are Faster Than The Eye by Henry Evans

In this captivating effect, the magician showcases a joker, skillfully maneuvering it among the fanned deck. The spectator calls out “stop,” and the joker is placed into the deck. When the cards are turned face up, the joker is revealed to be positioned beneath the selected card, such as the 2 of hearts.

The joker is then visibly removed and displayed on both sides. After squaring up the deck, the magician (or the spectator) makes the “invisible” chosen card disappear completely, leaving the entire deck available for examination. The vanish is executed with remarkable cleanliness.

To add to the astonishment, the magician makes the chosen card reappear at any location of his choosing.
