International Magic Lecture – Luke Jermay

We are thrilled to introduce the Luke Jermay Lecture to our International Magic DVD collection. This marks Luke’s final lecture for the magic community, and it’s fitting that he returns to his roots to share his insights. Luke began his journey in magic at just 9 years old, quickly showcasing an extraordinary talent. His rapid development was remarkable; within weeks, he was studying advanced material and executing it flawlessly.

Over the years, Ron MacMillan played a pivotal role in mentoring Luke, showcasing him at numerous conventions across Europe. Luke consistently amazed audiences, earning a well-deserved reputation in close-up magic. Eventually, he shifted his focus to Mentalism, where he introduced innovative concepts that captivated skeptics and garnered acclaim from industry giants like Derren Brown and Kenton Knepper.

In this DVD, Luke shares three of his signature routines, complete with detailed explanations. He starts with “Envelopes,” a captivating series of predictions and mind-reading demonstrations performed on an unsuspecting spectator, culminating in a surprising “Just Chance” finale. Next is the impressive “Touching On Hoy,” where three seated spectators think of different items—a date, an object, and a name—while Luke effortlessly reads their thoughts.

The final routine, “Pulses,” showcases Luke’s ability to control his own pulse, making it slow, stop, and restart on command, all while a spectator monitors him. To elevate the astonishment, he repeats the effect with a spectator, demonstrating the same control over their pulse. This breathtaking performance is not only mesmerizing but also thoroughly explained, including a comprehensive Q&A session with the audience.
