William Houcke, the 2015 winner of the Arteco Production creators contest, is a talented magician known for his originality and creativity. His innovation, Marker, is a unique gimmick that allows you to transform any prediction written on the back of a card, opening up endless possibilities.

Classic Routine: Begin by writing a prediction on the back of a card and ask a spectator to select one. For instance, they pick the ace of hearts. You reveal your prediction, the six of clubs, which is incorrect. With a simple stroke of the marker, your prediction instantly changes to match the spectator’s choice. You can hand the card to them without any alterations, and it resets in under two minutes.

Travel Routine: Display a deck of cards with names of cities on their backs and invite a spectator to pick one, such as New York. An envelope containing your prediction sits on the table. When you reveal it, the back shows a question mark. With a quick pass of the marker, the name of the chosen city appears, completing the effect.

Bonus Signed Card: Not only can you change predictions on a regular card, but you can also perform this effect on a signed card. The spectator leaves with their unique signed card featuring the altered prediction, making for a truly astonishing experience.
