Silkcoin has been a cornerstone of my magic performances for many years. Recently, I’ve enhanced its presentation! So, what exactly is Silkcoin? It’s a mesmerizing illusion where a coin visibly penetrates through a sheer scarf. This routine stands out for several reasons. Primarily, the audience is only aware of the transparent scarf. After showcasing its see-through quality, a coin is magically produced from the scarf. The coin then appears to pass through the fabric multiple times, creating an astonishing solid-through-solid effect. Each phase escalates in impossibility, culminating in the coin’s disappearance, leaving only the scarf behind.

This versatile routine is ideal for intimate settings or grand stage performances, captivating audiences of any size. The package includes the essential sheer scarf and access to an online video tutorial for guidance.

Originally featured in “Next Victim, Please…The Close-Up Magic of Michael Kaminskas” by Hades Publications in 1994, this effect was updated for lecture notes in 2017 and transformed into a physical product with a video tutorial as version 2.0 in 2019.
