What Will He Teach?

For many years, I’ve successfully used these routines in my performances. I typically start with the Ten Dollar Bill trick featuring a child from the audience, followed by the Bill in Cigar with a gentleman volunteer. The engaging interaction allows these routines to last around 16 to 17 minutes. I’ve showcased both tricks in private homes and even performed the Bill in Cigar at the San Diego Sports Arena before thousands. These classic routines have been refined over the years and are now two of my go-to, angle-proof performances. Additionally, I will cover Impromptu Powers of Darkness.

Who Is He?

Mike’s extraordinary talents have taken him across the globe, from Japan to Russia, Monte Carlo to Borneo, and throughout Europe, South America, and all 50 states. He has performed on the legendary Orient Express and at the FISM World Congress of Magic six times in Belgium, Japan, Portugal, England, China, and Korea, as well as at the Sydney Arts Festival and the renowned London Palladium.

Twice honored as “Stage Magician of the Year” by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Mike is also a proud member of London’s Inner Magic Circle. Mike Caveney’s Magic Words has published over 50 books on magic’s theory, practice, and history. His notable works include “Magicomedy,” “Harry Anderson: Wise Guy,” “The Great Leon,” “Carter the Great,” three volumes of Classic Correspondence from the Egyptian Hall Museum, “Mike Caveney Wonders,” “The Conference Illusions,” and “MAGIC 1400s-1950,” co-authored with Jim Steinmeyer and translated into six languages.
