WHAT IT IS
P.O.V. is an ingeniously designed sticky pad that enables performers to effortlessly peek at any drawing, number, or word. The secret is as impressive as the effects it produces.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Unlike traditional peeks where information is awkwardly stored in a wallet or holder, P.O.V. allows the spectator to write and keep the paper immediately. The reactions we receive with P.O.V. are some of the most enthusiastic.
ALL ACTIONS ARE MOTIVATED
The magician discreetly uncovers the information in an instant, with every action being motivated and justified, leaving the audience completely baffled.
P.O.V. includes detailed explanations for six different handling techniques and four effects, which are:
DIRECT THOUGHT
In this effect, the spectator writes down any number between 1 and 1000. The magician touches the spectator’s forehead and instantly reveals the prediction. This performance is prominently featured in the main trailer, and the reactions speak volumes.
MIRROR ROUTINE
Perform a classic effect without relying on expensive electronics! A spectator mirrors the magician’s actions. After a brief introductory “ritual,” the spectator draws something while the magician does the same simultaneously. To everyone’s astonishment, both drawings match perfectly! A timeless magic classic that fits right in your pocket!
DRAWING DUPLICATION
This is João’s favorite effect from the entire project! The spectator draws anything on a post-it note. The magician takes another pad and a marker, claiming he will guess what the spectator drew. To the spectator’s surprise, the magician’s prediction is incorrect! He crumples the post-it with the wrong drawing and places it in a wine glass, twirling it as a “magical move.” When the spectator opens the crumpled paper, they discover that the magician’s incorrect drawing has magically transformed into their original drawing!
CARD TRICK KICKER
In Card Trick Kicker, the spectator thinks of a number between 1 and 6 and writes it in the P.O.V. pad. They then select six cards from the deck, shuffle them, and remember the card corresponding to their chosen number. The spectator places the cards face up, one by one, on the table. The magician squares the deck and spreads it out, revealing that all the indifferent cards are face down, except for the spectator’s chosen card! To cap it off, the magician flips the chosen card to reveal a post-it note attached to it, displaying the spectator’s original thought-of number!
