The teacher writes on the board: 2 + 2 =. You’re asked to solve it. Nervousness takes over, and instead of writing 4, you jot down a two-digit number. Write that number discreetly.” He hands over a pad and pen for the spectator to write their number and keep the page.

Next, the mentalist engages another spectator, reminiscing about drawing on the blackboard. He reveals the pad filled with various sketches and asks the spectator to select one without showing it to anyone. The spectator visualizes drawing it with chalk.

When the moment arrives, the mentalist asks both spectators to reveal their thoughts. They announce, for instance, “43” and “a boat.”

“Picasso once said, ‘Everything you can imagine is real’,” the performer declares as he retrieves the envelope, which has been in full view. He unveils a slate displaying “2 + 2 = 43” alongside a detailed drawing of a boat!
