Repertoire Volume 2
Repertoire Volume 2 is the second installment of my series, featuring a collection of practical routines suitable for any setting. Here’s what you can expect:
POPOMOWA –
PoPoMoWa, which stands for pocket, pocket, mouth, wallet, is a fast-paced misdirection card routine. The spectator’s signed card is found in unexpected places, with optional extras for varied performances.
SANDWICH FEAST –
This sandwich routine keeps you one step ahead at every phase. Three cards are chosen and lost in the deck, while two kings find them, ensuring maximum engagement in the spectator’s hands.
SPECTATOR LOCATER –
A multi-selection routine where two cards are lost in the deck, and a third card, the spectator locater, is vanished from the top. The two cards surrounding it reveal the selections.
COLD AND LONELY –
This is my twist on the Anniversary Waltz. A card is selected and signed on its back, placed face up in the spectator’s hands. Another card is signed on its face, and when they touch, the first card shows the spectator’s signature on the back. The original card is revealed to have a blue back, creating a surprising twist.
PEEK DRIBBLE SELECTION –
A straightforward peek technique for selecting cards during a dribble.
PEEK RIFFLE KEY CARD –
This method, which I independently developed, turns out to have been previously published in the Royal Road to Card Magic. I provide a solid routine using this peek to identify a key card.
CARD TO SPECTATOR’S WALLET –
A captivating mystery card routine that ends with the spectator’s signed card appearing in their wallet. This effect is so effective that I sometimes leave the signed card for them to find later!
ON BACK –
This method allows you to secretly attach the spectator’s signed card to their back, and it works great with business cards too!
THREE FREE RIDES –
A multi-selection effect where you find three spectators’ cards, which then vanish from the deck and reappear in the spectator’s pocket.
SLEIGHTLY CONFUSED (Signed and Unsigned) –
A torn and restored routine where the spectator’s signed card is lost in the deck, which they hold. The magician mimics tearing the card, producing matching pieces from thin air. When the spectator opens their hand, the pieces are restored, revealing their signature on the back.
SIGNED AND DATED –
This unique TnR effect produces pieces of a selection invisibly, which then become visible when restored. Each piece is shown before and after restoration, culminating in a stunning kicker ending.
