Effect:

Three spectators each select a card. The first spectator remembers their card, the Four of Clubs, which is then returned to the deck. The second spectator looks at their card, the Seven of Diamonds, and places it face-down on the table. The third spectator reveals their card, the King of Clubs, and leaves it face-up.

The magician presents a small packet of four cards that have normal backs but blank faces. “These cards serve three purposes,” he explains. “First, they are for Trapping.” The magician riffles through the deck, swiping the four blank cards. When he examines the face-down cards, a face-up Four of Clubs appears among them, which he places on top of the deck.

“Their second purpose is Collecting.” The magician waves the packet over the deck three times. When he spreads the face-down cards, three cards are revealed: the Sevens of Hearts, Clubs, and Spades, which correspond to the second selection!

“Finally, their last purpose is Printing.” The magician waves the packet over the face-up King of Clubs. Turning the packet face-up reveals that all cards have transformed into the King of Clubs!
