Nefesch – TeleShock
Imagine visiting friends or family and showcasing an incredible telekinesis skill you’ve mastered — that’s where Teleshock comes in!
You start by asking the host to turn on their television and select any random channel. Then, you suggest that their choice might not be as random as they believe. For instance, if they land on channel 31, “Animal Planet,” you ask them to think of a different channel deliberately, without revealing it to anyone. Once they confirm they have a channel in mind, the TV is turned off.
To enhance the effect, you request that the television be unplugged from the wall (with the owner’s permission). This step is crucial for ensuring a fair demonstration under controlled conditions. After the TV is unplugged, you begin your reading to discern the channel the spectator is thinking of!
Key conditions include:
- Your hands remain visible throughout the performance, as no devices are needed to execute the effect.
- The spectator holds the TV remote, which is the only remote used in this demonstration (no duplicates).
- The TV is not only turned off but unplugged, and it was the spectator who unplugged it. Remember, the TV was set to a specific channel before being turned off and unplugged.
With your hands in plain sight, you ask for the television to be plugged back in. You begin to describe a specific ‘scene’ in your mind that relates to the channel the spectator has been thinking of. For the first time, you ask what channel they were focused on and explain that your new skill allows you to change channels using only your mental power. As you concentrate on the TV, you request it to be turned on for the first time since being unplugged. To everyone’s astonishment, the television powers up to the exact channel the spectator was thinking of, displaying the scene you described!
- Teleshock requires no setup, gimmicks, or stooges — it’s entirely impromptu.
- There is no duplicate remote control involved in Teleshock.
- Teleshock is completely self-working.
The method comprises three parts, two of which are established mentalism techniques. The innovative aspect is how to change the channel of a TV without the spectators knowing. Nefesch provides four methods to address all scenarios and models.
