Unbelievable Ring on String Effect

Explore the fascinating world of magic with a unique ring on string effect that requires no gimmicks, duplicate rings, or sleight of hand. This method can even utilize a borrowed ring, making it perfect for impromptu performances. What sets this trick apart is that it can be executed with your wrists tied behind your back, under test conditions!

The performer’s wrists are securely bound with a three-foot piece of string, allowing spectators to examine the knots. A spectator marks both knots with a black Sharpie, ensuring they remain untouched throughout the performance. If the knots were tampered with, the marks would shift, but they stay in place, adding to the mystery.

The performer emphasizes that threading a finger ring onto the cord is impossible while his wrists are tied. Nevertheless, he boldly claims he will achieve this feat under strict conditions.

With a borrowed finger ring hidden in one hand behind his back, the performer turns around. Moments later, the ring is astonishingly threaded onto the cord, complete with a genuine knot tied around it. This entire process unfolds in mere seconds, leaving spectators utterly baffled.

Upon inspection, spectators find the knots intact and the marks still visible, confirming that no tampering has occurred. They can examine both the ring and the cord while it remains tied to the performer’s wrists, realizing that the ring is indeed threaded and the knot is real. Attempts to remove the ring or untie the knot prove futile, adding to the intrigue.

The only way to free the knot is for someone to cut or untie the cord from one wrist. Once released, they can untie the knot and discover, to their amazement, that the ring is genuinely threaded on the cord!

This trick requires no sleights and is incredibly easy to perform. There are no magnets or pulls involved, and the string is completely unaltered. The method is straightforward, using only a borrowed ring and a piece of string. Multiple instructional photos guide you through the process. Additionally, a stage version using a 3-inch wooden ring, which is initialed by the spectator to prevent any switches, is included. This is one of the most astonishing ring on string routines ever devised, performed under test conditions with a borrowed ring.

NOTE: The method does NOT involve slipping the loop off your hands; the loops tied around your wrists are too small for that.
