Effect

A spectator is handed a genuine, unmarked deck of cards to shuffle thoroughly. Once satisfied, they keep the deck while the performer does not touch it again. The performer highlights the card case, demonstrating that it has no slits or holes. With their back turned, the spectator spreads the cards face down, selects one without looking, and seals it in the card case. The remaining cards are hidden, and the performer turns back, concentrating intensely on the card case. Gradually, they reveal the chosen card: first the color—black, then the suit—Clubs, and finally the value—a King, specifically the King of Clubs! The spectator then retrieves the card from the case, confirming it is indeed the King of Clubs.
