A Cat in a Spot is a brilliant method that utilizes a Post-it pad to make the seemingly impossible ACAAN (Any Card At Any Number) achievable. The magician presents a Post-it pad filled with random numbers and cards, then hands a deck to a spectator for later use. The spectator randomly selects a page from the pad to reveal a number and then chooses another page for a card. With the deck they’ve held throughout, they deal down to the chosen card at the specified number. This effect requires no complex sleight of hand, memorization, or mathematical calculations.
