CONTENTS & EFFECTS

PSYCHIC MATH: An astonishing card revelation that seems impossible. You identify a card’s location using the values of two randomly chosen cards from the start. All you need is a standard deck of fifty-two cards.

THE ANTI-GRAVITY SHUFFLE: A mathematically inspired multiple sandwich effect!

ANTI-GRAVITY + THOT: A simplified version featuring just two Jacks, where they reveal a value thought of by a spectator.

FIRST EXPERIMENT: A spectator thinks of any card from a packet and answers questions about it—color, suit, etc. Ultimately, their card ends up on top of the pile.

MARRIED IN HASTE: A spectator places four Queens atop four Kings, resulting in a surprising union!

A DARK WIDOW: A twist on the classic ‘Black Widow’ effect by Brown and Fulves.

MATE TRIX: After two cards are selected, all matching pairs appear unexpectedly.

HOFZINSER IN REGRESSION: A unique take on the Hofzinser Four Ace problem.

MAGIC KINGDOM: A straightforward Faro trick where a King finds two chosen cards.

SYNCHRONIC STATUS: The first in a series of tricks utilizing Marty Kane’s Status Quo Principle (SQP). With a seven-card packet and unlimited DOWN/Under Deals, the 2nd and 5th cards maintain their positions, applicable to various quantities.

SHERLOCK’S EVIDENCE: This trick also employs the seven-card SQP along with a simple numerical stack.

THE MAGICARD #1, #2: From a selection of red cards, a spectator picks the only black card—no SQP involved!

PREFIXATION: A presentational twist on Ken de Courcy’s “Four Ace Prefix” (Griffin, April 1999). Essentially, it’s a four Ace discovery without any setup.

CALLING CINCINNATI: This expands on Marty Kane’s SQP. Iain Girdwood observed that in an 11-card packet, the 3rd, 5th, and 8th cards remain static during unlimited UNDER/Down Deals. A recent discovery revealed that the 2nd and 11th cards transpose after each deal, keeping all five positions (2-3-5-8-11) under control, regardless of the number of deals. Here’s a simple effect based on this principle.

MUMBLE JUMBLE: A variation of Karl Fulves’ “Mumbles” from his book Mutus Nomen, utilizing a Stay Stack (Rusduck).

COLOUR PACK: An impossible double location of two cards achieved through a straightforward method.

THE ROYAL WEDDING: A fresh take on the Hofzinser Royal Marriages plot, based on the Rusduck Stay Stack, distinct from previous versions.

ERDNASE MEETS HOFZINSER: A new handling of the well-known Hofzinser Ace Problem, incorporating the Erdnase Colour Change inspired by Roy Walton’s “Mission Accomplished” (Complete Walton, Devil’s Playthings chapter).

OUT OF MIND, OUT OF SIGHT: Another SQP trick, this time with seven cards. Part of the revelation sequence features the Dave Campbell “Card Named Fred” gag.

PARANORMAL REALM: A combination of location and prediction, utilizing an age-old principle presented in a fresh way, requiring no preparation.

THE 21st CARD TRICK: A cleaner handling of my earlier effect “Hen Party” (Inspirations, Breese Books). This multiple sandwich is based on Walton’s “Collectors,” though the effect differs. While straightforward, step 2 requires careful execution.
