Here’s the backstory: Some of my magician friends in Vegas and LA always carry confetti for fun. This sparked an idea: what if the confetti itself was the magic? This thought inspired Daryl and Darryl to create this exciting release: Confetti Card.

Your spectator selects a card and returns it to the deck, which they hold. Then, with empty hands, you reach into your pockets and produce a single card (both the back and front are visible) along with a handful of confetti. You dramatically reveal the card with a burst of paper!

But wait—it’s the wrong card.

Just when it seems like the trick has failed, you fold the incorrect card, toss it into the air, and it TRANSFORMS into a confetti version of the chosen card.

Think about how magical that is: not only does the card turn into confetti, but the wrong card also becomes the right one, which was just moments ago in the deck.

Sometimes, the confetti lands face-up, making the transformation immediately clear. Other times—equally impressive—the pieces land face-down, allowing you to extend the magical moment by inviting your friend to bend down and reveal the pieces.

Either way, the outcome is the same: pure astonishment.

This trick is easily repeatable and requires no elaborate props.

If you’re performing in a setting where cleanup is necessary, you can use larger confetti and card pieces. Alternatively, tiny pieces can create a delightful mess when the moment calls for it.
