Here are the fundamental rules that govern all effects in this project:

The deck may be stacked or gimmicked, but it must be presentable to the audience and, if necessary, quickly examined by a spectator.

Multiverse A.C.A.A.N.

The magician presents a shuffled deck of cards to a spectator, who deals cards face down and stops at their discretion. They reveal one card and split the remaining deck into several piles before reassembling it.

After explaining that each card has three counterparts from parallel universes, distinguishable only by suit, the spectator focuses on the value of their chosen card. The goal is to identify a corresponding card from the multiverse based on the suit of the card adjacent to it after the deck is cut. The spectator will then sum the values of the two cards, generating a random number. Astonishingly, counting down from the top of the deck to that position reveals the predicted card.

Royal A.K.A.A.N. (Any King At Any Number)

A spectator selects a card value from Ace to King through a process of elimination. The magician presents a standard 52-card deck, shuffles it, and invites the spectator to cut the deck and note the suit of the card at their chosen position, which will determine a new card made up of the selected value and suit.

The value of the cut card also plays a crucial role. As the spectator counts the corresponding number of cards for the other three suits, they will find a random card. Ultimately, counting to that number reveals the exact card they initially chose.

IMPROMPTU Lucky A.C.A.A.N.

This effect is completely impromptu! The magician hands a shuffled deck to the spectator, who verifies the randomness of the card arrangement. The spectator then selects a small number of cards from the top, memorizes the count, and divides the remaining deck into three piles, choosing one card to be lost in the first pile. The other cards are shuffled together, and the spectator completes the deck.

At this point, the magician reveals their own lucky card and asks the spectator to find it within the face-up deck, while also mentioning their lucky number: 13. After locating the card, the spectator counts 13 additional cards but does not find their chosen card! The magician, undeterred, claims that this is a REVEALING card and reminds the spectator of their card and favorite number.

Using this key card and counting to the spectator’s number, the chosen card will be magically revealed.
