For over a decade, Criss Angel has reigned supreme in the magic world, recognized as the biggest name globally. As the star, creator, executive producer, and director of the record-breaking magic television series Criss Angel MINDFREAK on A&E Network, as well as his top-selling Las Vegas stage show, Criss Angel MINDFREAK, Angel has become the most influential and imitated magician of modern times. His contributions span critically acclaimed television specials, best-selling books, and high-grossing retail products, earning him the title of the most successful magician in history.

His hit series MINDFREAK holds the record as the most successful magic show in television history, attracting over 100 million viewers across 90 countries. Notably, a live broadcast of the “Building Implosion” episode in Clearwater, Florida, drew more than 50,000 attendees, marking a record crowd for a magician, rivaling Houdini. Oprah Winfrey famously declared, “Criss is the best, THE BEST.”

Angel’s subsequent series, Criss Angel BeLIEve, premiered on Spike on October 15, 2013, becoming the network’s most-watched original series premiere in over 18 months. In October 2016, Angel returned to A&E with Trick’dUP, a one-hour Halloween special. Throughout his career, Angel has received numerous accolades, including a “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the International Brotherhood of Magicians, making him the youngest recipient of this honor. In 2019, he was awarded “The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T)” Award by Vanish Magazine, recognizing his significant impact on the magic industry. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored him with the 2,615^th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July 2017, located near Houdini’s star.
