LOCI Revisited // Initially released as a standalone manuscript, LOCI closely mimics genuine memory techniques. The audience shuffles a deck, which you memorize. You can identify a card moved by a participant and return it to its original position. Additionally, you can recall the order of any suit and accurately name the card at any number between 1 and 52 called by an audience member. This revised version simplifies some of the original’s technical elements, making it accessible to all performers without compromising the effect.

Powerlifter // A participant isolates a packet of cards using two marker cards. With a single riffle, you instantly determine the number of cards in this packet. This process is repeated with another packet shuffled face up into the deck. After a brief glance at the spread, you can again name the total number of cards in the packet and identify each card in their shuffled order.

Idiot Savant // After shuffling the deck, a participant selects and reverses a card. By briefly examining the deck face up, you can deduce the identity of the reversed card solely from your mental image. You then name three numbers, and the participant deals down to each, revealing the three mates of the reversed card.

Rogue // You invite a participant to experience your skills, granting them an astonishing subconscious memory. Without knowing how, they will be able to locate any randomly named cards after just a few seconds of observing a genuinely shuffled deck!

These routines require no strenuous memory work, making them ideal for parlor, stage, and close-up performances.
