The Syncing Procedure – A “do as I do” routine with marked cards, where the magician and spectator synchronize their minds like Bluetooth devices. The magician then turns away as the spectator selects cards from the deck, revealing them as if seeing through the spectator’s eyes.

The Strangest Thing – A fresh take on magnetized cards, where the magician makes cards adhere to their hands simply by holding their breath.

Nick The Duck – An adult-themed routine featuring a card duck prop. A card is chosen and returned to a shuffled deck. A wooden duck, capable of lighting a fire with its mind, is introduced. The audience chants “Nick The Duck” like a rock concert before the duck dramatically retrieves the selected card.

Who Is He?

Erik Tait has garnered accolades for both stand-up comedy and magic across North America. He graduated with honors from Humber College’s Comedy Writing and Performance program, proving his comedic prowess academically. Erik is the only magician globally with a degree in humor, applying academic theory on prestigious stages like The Magic Castle, Second City Toronto, and the Hollywood Improv. His impressive client roster includes well-known brands such as Honda, Macy’s, and Bark Box.

In addition to his magic, Erik has gained acclaim as a burlesque host in Los Angeles and the Midwest, earning the title “Master of Comedy” at the Burlypicks International Burlesque and Variety Arts Competition. His quick wit and relaxed style make him the ideal host of Quiz Box, a popular live game show at Columbus, Ohio’s Shadowbox Live.
