A spectator selects and signs a card. The magician tears off a corner, then places their iPhone in the spectator’s hand. The torn piece rests on top of the iPhone, covered by the card. The spectator attempts to “restore” the card, but it doesn’t work. As the card is lifted, the magician visibly moves the torn piece to the “soft spot,” causing it to penetrate the solid plastic of the iPhone case, now appearing inside! The spectator can fully examine the phone, and the card can be given as a souvenir.
