The spectator uses their own deck of cards—no setup required, and it doesn’t even need to be a full deck. The performer never sees the cards! With a packet of ten random cards, the spectator selects one. Several cards are discarded, so the performer remains unaware of how many cards are in play. Yet, as the spectator deals down into the packet, the performer suddenly knows which card they are holding—and they are correct!
