Introducing ‘LOXLEY’ by Dave Forrest, a captivating ‘predicted card at number’ effect featuring an incredible kicker!

Effect: You send a prediction via a picture message to your participant’s mobile phone (or alternatively, you can present an envelope containing the image). Hand them a Joker and invite them to insert it anywhere they choose, face up, into a face-down deck. This choice is entirely free, allowing them to place the Joker wherever they wish. You explain that the card directly above the Joker will be the focus of the performance, but you won’t know its position. The spectator is then encouraged to cut the deck as many times as they like, ensuring no one can predict where the Joker is located. Two certainties emerge: no one knows which card is above the Joker, and its position in the deck remains a mystery. You locate the Joker, leaving it out-jogged, and count down to reveal the card directly above it — the Jack of Clubs, precisely 16 cards down. The participant checks their mobile phone to find a photograph of a Jack of Clubs, with a post-it note on the face boldly stating ‘16th‘! You confidently reveal that you were so sure of this outcome that you didn’t even need the rest of the cards. When the deck is turned face up, every card is shown to be completely BLANK! The astonishment is palpable, and the reactions are absolutely phenomenal!
