Magical Tidbits by Professor Hoffmann
Professor Hoffmann, after the release of Later Magic, planned a fourth book that he ultimately did not complete due to age and other commitments. Instead, he compiled this volume, which serves as a collection of previously gathered material. While some items from Hartz are revisited here, most of the content is original.
Interestingly, despite stating in the preface of Magical Tidbits that he abandoned the follow-up to Later Magic, Hoffmann published Latest Magic in 1918, which can be seen as the fourth book he initially set aside.
1st edition, 1911, George Routledge & Sons, New York; 221 pages.
