Discover the Ingenious Infinity Card Control by Martin Nash
In 1991, Martin Nash introduced a groundbreaking card control known as Infinity. This innovative technique is one of the most intuitive advancements in card magic since the Double Lift. Initially, Martin offered it to fifty card enthusiasts for fifty dollars each, but with specific conditions: if they didn’t like it, they wouldn’t have to pay, but they couldn’t use it; they were also prohibited from teaching or publishing it. Martin agreed to keep it exclusive for one year, and true to their word, no one revealed the secret. Two years later, he released it on tape in the acclaimed Infinity & Beyond.
One of the first to witness Infinity was the legendary Johnny Thompson, also known as The Great Tomsoni. He remarked, “I find Martin’s Infinity Principle to be one of the cleverest and most useful card controls in my repertoire.” Over a decade later, Infinity remains a staple in Thompson’s performances. The name “Infinity” originated from Thompson’s enthusiastic exploration of the control, as he frequently called Martin from his Hawaiian cruise, excitedly sharing new possibilities he discovered each night.
This exclusive book, authored by Jon Racherbaumer and published by Lee Freed, was completed in 2000 but didn’t see print until 2003, with only fifty numbered copies made available. Andy Greget sold several at the LVMI in October 2003, and the original edition contained no photos or diagrams.
I have enhanced this unique work by adding photographs and creating a clean, printable version. Now, you can own this remarkable masterpiece by Martin Nash. – R.I.P.
