A captivating mind reading card effect performed entirely in the spectator’s hands.

The magician, with their back turned, invites a spectator to choose from four identical face-down decks arranged in a row. Once a selection is made, the spectator lifts the chosen deck, discovering one of the magician’s business cards underneath. Before inspecting the card, the spectator shuffles the deck and places it back on the table. They then look at the back of the business card and discreetly store it in their pocket or another hidden location. The spectator removes the remaining decks and business cards, allowing them to verify that each card features a unique design on the back. The magician then turns around and delivers a ‘reading’ using the selected deck, dramatically revealing the information on the concealed business card.

This effect unfolds precisely as described, with the performer unaware of the card’s content until the reading concludes. The spectator enjoys complete freedom in their deck selection.

While not essential, having some knowledge of cold reading can enhance the performance’s impact. Nevertheless, the method for uncovering the information on the business card is nearly effortless and occurs right before the spectator’s eyes.
